Midgate Glass Lock — Chevy Avalanche
- Remove the original lock piece, spring, retainer clip, and metal back plate.
- Retrieve the retainer clip from inside the original piece. The spring and back plate will not be reused.
- Insert the retainer clip into the new lock piece in the slot.
- Insert the lock onto the shaft in the midgate, ensuring it clips in place securely.
